Keeping up with the tradition, RTA has announced that public parking will be free of charge as part of Eid Al Fitr celebrations in the UAE.
The free parking will start from Sunday, 2nd of June. Eid Al Fitr will be celebrated on the 4th of June in the UAE. Car users will be able to park their cars free in all RTA parking zones absolutely free of cost for the the next week till Friday June 7.
However, this offer doesn’t extend to cars parked in RTA multi level parking terminals, as for them they will be charged regular parking charges.
RTA also announced revised timings for Dubai Metro during the Eid holidays.
Dubai Metro Red Line
Monday, June 3 to Thursday, June 6: 5am to 2am (of the following day)
Friday, June 7: 10am to 2am (of the following day)
Saturday, June 8: 5am to 2am (of the following day)
Dubai Metro Green Line
Monday, June 3 to Thursday, June 6: 5.30am to 2am (of the following day)
Friday, June 7: 10am to 2am (of the following day)
Saturday, June 8: 5.30am to 2am (of the following day).
Dubai Tram
Saturday to Thursday: 6am to 1am (of the following day)
Friday: 9am to 1am (of the following day).
