Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), the manufacturer of Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep and RAM vehicles worldwide, has offered an extension to all Mopar® customers whose warranties expire during the COVID-19 lock-down in the Middle East. Mopar® is the exclusive service, parts and customer care provider for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles around the globe. Under the terms of the extension, every Mopar® customer with a contractual warranty, a maintenance plan or an extended warranty plan set to expire during the lock-down will be entitled to an extension of one month after the end of the of the lock-down, as mandated by the authorities in their country of residence. Those customers should contact their service centers to book an appointment to service their vehicles during that one-month period, and the standard terms of their expired contract will be honored. Explaining the reason for the extension, Maher A. Abdalla, Director of Mopar Service, Parts, Customer Care and Supply Chain for FCA Middle East said: “The world is currently facing a challenge that is unprecedented in our times, and we would like to help our customers in any way that we can to reduce the stress that this situation is causing. Most of our customers are confined to their homes through no fault of their own, and we want to ensure that they ‘Stay Home & Stay Safe’ during the lockdown period. As a result, we are extending the expiration date of their warranties so that they have the opportunity to book a service for their vehicle once the lock-down has ended.”
