Samson Gilbret De Souza purchased his Toyota Land Cruiser Prado J90 Series in 1998, and his love for the car and the brand has kept the relationship going. Equipped with a manual five five-speed transmission with a super-reliable 3.4-litre V6 engine, the 1998 Toyota Prado still runs as good as new today.

Commenting on his beloved Prado, De Souza said: “It was 25 years ago that I found this masterpiece of a car, the 2nd generation of Prado, a practical four-wheel-drive which was just introduced back in 1998. I have loved driving this car off-road through Hatta and Jebel Jais mountains and during rainy days as I feel I was always in control with the car.
It has now become my children’s favourite car, and a part of my family. Therefore, it holds a sentimental value, making it too difficult to even think of selling the car, especially since it has never given me any engine problems.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Al-Futtaim, who made me feel happy and stress-free to service this car and I am hoping to keep this car on the road for the next 25 years to come!”
