New limited-edition Land Rover Defender 90 Design Icon Model* captures the essence of the brand’s unmistakeable design language
Created by the Land Rover Design Studio and available in three authentic colours, the Design Icon Model* is limited to just 5,000 examples in total
TUESDAY, SEPT 28, 2021, Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Land Rover designers have created a new limited-edition Defender 90 Design Icon Model*, capturing the essence of its unmistakable design language.
The Defender 90 Design Icon Model* is available in three authentic colours used on Land Rover’s reborn all-terrain legend: Pangea Green, Gondwana Stone and Santorini Black. With a dynamic stance and sophisticated lines, the model represents a celebration of Land Rover’s go-anywhere modern luxury, from the Design team that brings those shapes to life.
Massimo Frascella, Land Rover Design Director, said: “The adventurous spirit of Land Rover is expressed through the Icon Model’s characteristic form and attention to detail, while its reductive form gives a timeless quality to the design.”
The Defender 90 Design Icon Model* is 17cm long, 9cm wide and 6cm high. It is restricted to 5,000 examples globally across the three colours.
