- RS Q e-tron E2 showcased at the CARS café, along with other Audi Sport models
- Audi to take up residence at Dubai Autodrome from 9th-15th January with coverage of the Dakar Rally, culminating in the 24H Hankook Dubai race
Dubai – A week of sporting excellence will commence at popular cars and coffee stop, CARS Cafe, on Monday 9th January. Making a guest appearance at the café will be the iconic 1985 Audi Sport Quattro, alongside the RS Q e-tron E2. Meanwhile, Audi’s RSQ e-tron E2 is competing in the 2023 Dakar Rally taking place in neighbouring Saudi Arabia.
In terms of technology, the Audi RS Q e-tron is the most sophisticated vehicle that Audi Sport has ever deployed in racing to date – making history in 2022 as the first electrically powered entry to win a stage of the race; in fact winning four full stages by the end of the rally. The new RS Q e-tron E2 is touted to achieve even more this year.
There will be regular updates and live viewings of the Rally throughout the week and then, the 24H Hankook Dubai race takes over the track next door over the weekend. Fans and enthusiasts alike are to be treated to an eventful Audi Sports week until the 16th of January, 2023, with a special surprise for existing Audi customers. Audi’s CARS Café take-over is accessible to those with 24H Hankook race tickets.
