Land Rover has enhanced the unique appeal of the Range Rover Velar with a suite of updates, including the introduction of the sophisticated, limited-run Range Rover Velar Auric Edition.
The limited-edition model derives its name from the Latin ‘Aurum’ meaning gold – a nod to the elegant Auric Atlas finishes – which further enhance the Range Rover Velar’s modern and sophisticated design
Range Rover Velar customers looking for an even more personalised and exclusive design can now choose from 14 distinctive paint colour options from the SV Bespoke Premium Palette or Match To Sample service. Specially developed hues, such as Tourmaline Brown [pictured] are available in a range of finishes such as satin matte and ultra-metallic.
New technology introduced for 2021 focuses on occupant comfort and wellbeing, with the debut of Cabin Air Purification Plus for Land Rover. Building on the existing Cabin Air Ionisation with PM2.5 Filtration, the enhanced new system goes even further to ensure the air occupants breathe inside the cabin is clean, with CO2 sensing and the ability to purify the cabin to start journeys with cleaner air*.
Additionally, Land Rover is introducing a range of new driver assistance features and Software-Over-The-Air updates for the Range Rover Velar, providing greater levels of support and convenience.
Exclusive Auric Atlas exterior trim finishes feature on the grille, badges, bonnet, door and front fender vents, complementing the reductive exterior design. Customers can choose from three exterior colours; Charente Grey, which is reserved exclusively for the Auric Edition, Ostuni Pearl White and Santorini Black. Distinctive 20-inch Mercurial Gloss Sparkle Silver alloy wheels and Privacy Glass complete the exterior enhancements, with optional 22-inch Pincer wheels and a contrast roof also available.
Customers can specify their preferred interior from the full range of luxurious and beautifully appointed trim finishes, including Windsor leather or sustainable Kvadrat premium textiles, for a refined and welcoming driving environment.
The new limited edition also benefits from a full suite of advanced technologies, including Land Rover’s configurable Interactive Driver Display. This complements the intuitive Pivi Pro infotainment system, reducing distractions by displaying a range of vehicle and navigation information to the driver.
The Range Rover Velar Auric Edition is available in the full range of refined four-and six-cylinder engines, including the P400e Plug-in Hybrid, offering an all-electric range of up to 33 miles (53km)Δ and CO2 emissions from only 49g/kmΔ.
