2021 Audi S6: Review, Specs and Price in UAE

The Audi S6 Sedan is a sporty all-rounder with class-leading infotainment, driver assist technology, a powerful drive system and a striking exterior. It offers optimal performance through a 2.9-liter TFSI six-cylinder engine and the quattro all-wheel drive technology.

The trim we tested had Audi Sport cast alloy wheels, 5-double-arm style, matte titanium look with 255/35 R21 tires. The Audi S6 accelerates like a rocket. The acceleration response impressed us big time and we clocked a 0 – 100 km speed at only 4.4 seconds. Considering its engine size and exhilarating performance, the S6 is fairly fuel efficient. The combined average inside the city and on the highway is around 13.3 liters per 100 kilometers travelled. The cabin appears to have double glazed windows with top quality cabin insulation. Other than the purring exhaust sound, there is hardly any wind or road noise.

Exterior:

The S6 design’s purpose is as much functional as it is aesthetic. All around the hood, it has smooth curves that resists the wind.  An acute angle to redirect airflow and a subtle upturn at the edge of a trunk lid helps create downforce. The familiar face of every Audi, the single frame grille on the Audi S6 is positioned low and wide for a sporty presence The fenders of the Audi S6 have a defined cutline on the upper surface. Four tailpipes are indicators that the twin-turbocharged V6 engine lives and breathes to perform.

Interior:

The Audi S6 has a simple, minimalist yet a classy cabin design. There is Alcantara leather on the headliners, hardened rubber on the main dashboard and a crisp head up display.  We have a sports contour leather-wrapped D shaped steering wheel with multifunction buttons for driver assistance. The driver display is a crisp HD screen that changes its look and feel when switching the drive modes. In the front, we get Sport S seats. They are heated and cooled and 4 way lumber adjustable. The center console has two touch screens, a shortish gear shaft, a comfortable hand rest and ample cubby space. Needless to say that there is bluetooth phone pairing in addition to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The infotainment system features an MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch response. When you press the touch screen, it delivers an audible click and haptic feedback. This special feature is absolutely new and we haven’t seen it any other car yet. The Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System with 3D sound adds to the acoustic cabin experience. The display screens are angled towards the driver to help optimize the view of the touchscreen icons. The rear seat comfort level is very high. Seat positioning, cushioning and materials used ensure that three passengers can travel long distances in utmost luxury with ample head and leg room. The panoramic glass sunroof plays an important part in making the cabin look even more roomier. For additional passenger comfort, there is 4-zone climate control system with each passenger able to control the temperature and blow speed individually. There is a huge cargo hold in the Audi S6. You could easily fit in 3 large suitcases and more lose cargo in there.
