Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 17 November, 2021: The Toyota Land Cruiser has been a long-time icon of the UAE, achieving legendary status amongst automotive enthusiasts. Now, Al-Futtaim Toyota has immortalized the newest version of the vehicle, the Land Cruiser 300 in a full size Lego model. The project, commissioned by Al-Futtaim Toyota is one of the largest Lego models ever made by a LEGO certified builder in the UAE, using more than 440,000 Lego pieces to make and weighing approximately 2,050 kg making it nearly identical to the real thing. The Lego version perfectly mirror the car’s dimensions, with both vehicles being 194.9 inches long and 74 inches tall. It took 12 team members 2,688 hours to develop and build the full-size Land Cruiser. Seventy years later, in June this year Al-Futtaim Toyota introduced the long-anticipated evolution, with ground-breaking enhancements to the platform and powertrain befitting the king of SUVs. The masterpiece will be on display at the Dubai Mall from 15th November to 15th December.
