User-focus, sustainability & pushing limits
Among the event’s activities to promote user engagement and co-creation was a dynamic Car Refitting Competition. Encouraged to showcase their creativity, automotive enthusiasts from over 10 countries and regions around the world were able to submit their custom renditions of the OMODA C5 ahead of the event, where the finalists were revealed and their submissions displayed. This initiative not only celebrated innovation, but also provided valuable insights into what customers seek in their ideal vehicle.
In line with its commitment to promoting a sustainable future, OMODA & JAECOO also hosted its annual cycling event, this time in collaboration with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). The event drew over 2,000 cycling enthusiasts, who gathered to promote green travel and environmental awareness.
Finally, the summit culminated in the highly anticipated JAECOO J7 PHEV long- range challenge, which put the vehicle’s capabilities to the test in a real-world scenario. Departing from Guangzhou, the J7 PHEV traveled 1,353 kilometers—exceeding its initial benchmark of 1,200 kilometers—while achieving an impressive pure electric range of 125.2 kilometers.
With a remarkably low fuel consumption of 3.3 liters that far outperformed expectations, the challenge showcased the JAECOO J7 PHEV’s cutting-edge Super Hybrid System (SHS), designed for both efficiency and environmental conservation.
