Nissan’s Zero Gravity seat technology, inspired by NASA’s research on neutral body posture in space, redefines driving comfort. These seats mimic the body’s natural, stress-free position in a weightless environment, using 14 pressure points to support the spine, hips, and shoulders.

Nissan’s Zero Gravity Seat Technology

Developed with Keio University’s Yamazaki Laboratory, the seats reduce muscle fatigue, enhance blood flow, and align the spine to make long drives more comfortable.

First introduced in the 2013 Nissan Altima, this technology is now available in over half of Nissan’s Middle East lineup, including the KICKS, Pathfinder, X-TRAIL, and the all-new Patrol with added massage functionality.

Why do we need Zero Gravity seats in the UAE?

In the UAE, where long drives across desert highways or urban commutes in cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi are common, Zero Gravity seats address driver fatigue, a key concern for comfort and safety.

The region’s hot climate also plays a role in cabin comfort. In addition to zero gravity seats, Nissan have crafted MODURE leatherette seats with Heat Guard technology for the Nissan Magnite.

Nissan is expanding this technology across models like the Patrol where UAE drivers benefit from enhanced comfort and reduced strain, making every journey more enjoyable.
