Maserati has launched a groundbreaking chapter in its storied history with the opening of the Officine Fuoriserie Maserati at its historic Modena plant on Viale Ciro Menotti.
This new space, dedicated to the Fuoriserie customization program, blends cutting-edge technology with traditional Italian artisanship, allowing customers to craft their dream Maserati with limitless personalization options.
Announced on March 27, 2025, the initiative underscores Maserati’s commitment to placing customer desires at the heart of its luxury ethos, a tradition rooted in its 100-year legacy since the Trident emblem first graced the Tipo 26 in 1926.
“This is about celebrating Italian luxury by putting the customer first,” said CEO Santo Ficili. “The Officine Fuoriserie is a tailor-made experience that elevates our tradition of excellence.”
The facility, spanning 4,000 square meters, can paint up to 24 cars daily across models like the Grecale, MC20, and GranTurismo. With over 20 workstations and a team of up to 110 specialized employees, the site represents a significant investment in Modena’s community and Maserati’s future growth.
To mark the opening, Maserati unveiled the MC20 Cielo “Less is More…?”, a one-off masterpiece inspired by the Bauhaus movement. This exclusive model features a minimalist Blu Corse Matte finish adorned with geometric shapes in vibrant hues like Rosso Capannelle Gloss and Giallo Avia Pervia Gloss, reflecting both heritage and innovation. It’s a striking example of the Fuoriserie program’s potential to transform customer visions into reality.
With this launch, Maserati reaffirms its position as a leader in luxury automotive design, merging its rich past with a forward-looking commitment to individuality and craftsmanship.

The Officine Fuoriserie introduces an innovative painting line within the Modena facility, enhancing the Fuoriserie program’s bespoke offerings. Customers can choose from two customization tiers: the Catalogue, featuring the Corse and Futura collections, and the Bespoke option for one-of-a-kind creations. Corse draws inspiration from Maserati’s racing heritage with reinterpreted historical shades and sophisticated liveries, while Futura embraces futuristic materials and bold, experimental colors. The Bespoke tier offers unparalleled creative freedom, turning clients into co-designers alongside Maserati’s Centro Stile team.“This is about celebrating Italian luxury by putting the customer first,” said CEO Santo Ficili. “The Officine Fuoriserie is a tailor-made experience that elevates our tradition of excellence.”
