Maserati will return to the GT2 European Series Powered by Pirelli in 2026, fielding at least four GT2 cars in a season that marks the 100th anniversary of the Trident’s first competitive victory.
The Modena manufacturer, which starred in the 2025 season, confirmed its entry alongside participation in the new SRO GT Academy. A title in the Academy would secure a funded drive in the 2027 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. Confirmed EntriesLP Racing will run two cars. Philippe Prette returns to defend his Am Class title. The Pro-Am entry, car No. 8, will feature 17-year-old Niccolò Pirri, stepping up from Formula 4, paired with experienced driver Thomas Yu Lee.
Dinamic Motorsport fields Mauro Calamia and Roberto Pampanini, who finished third in the drivers’ standings and second in teams’ in 2025.
i4Race from Belgium makes its championship debut with Antoine Potty.
Additional Maserati GT2 entries are expected in the coming months.

The five-round calendar begins at Monza on May 30-31, followed by Spa-Francorchamps (June 20-21), Misano (July 18-19), Zandvoort (Sept. 19-20) and Portimão (Oct. 17-18).
