Designed exclusively for customers in the GCC, the INFINITI QX80 Black Edition grade accentuates the SUV’s presence on the road, combining bold proportions and a commanding exterior design with a spacious, high quality cabin with room for seven or eight passengers. The exterior of the QX80 Black Edition features dark chrome and black exterior accents that highlight the front grill and fascia, side fender vents, door mirror caps and rear tailgate strip. The commanding stance is heightened with the addition of dark chrome 22-inch forged alloy wheels. The LED head and taillights provide improved visibility, while the Adaptive Front Lighting System illuminates corners by turning with the steering direction.
For the 2022 model year, the QX80 Black Edition has been significantly refined with a revised center cluster featuring a single INFINITI InTouch 12.3-inch widescreen HD display that includes wireless Apple CarPlay and USB-based Android Auto compatibility for entertainment on the go. An all-new wireless smartphone charger is included along with a Bose® Premium Sound system.
Standard on the Black Edition grade, a Smart Rearview Mirror displays a sharp view behind the luxury three-row SUV when engaged, even if cargo or passengers obstruct rearward vision inside. An Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and Front and Rear Sonar System is included to help make navigating tight parking spaces easier. Additional driver-assistance systems are available for the flagship SUV, including Intelligent Cruise Control, Backup Collision Intervention, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Intervention, and Lane Departure Prevention.
Inside, the 2022 QX80 features leather or semi-aniline appointed seats in all three rows, with the option of second-row captain’s chairs. Climate-controlled front seats are also available, as is Bose® Performance Series Audio with 17 speakers.
At its heart, the SUV is powered by INFINITI’s 5.6-liter V-8 that delivers 400 horsepower and 560 Newton-meters of torque, paired to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Equipped with INFINITI All-Mode® Four-Wheel Drive as well as Body Motion Control System, the QX80 is as capable as it is comfortable.
