Hijri New Year; Free parking across the UAE

All public parking across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, parking fees will be waived on Sunday the 23rd of August on the occasion of Hijri New year anncounced the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) earlier today. Free parking will revert back to paid parking on Monday the 24th of August. The RTA also announced that timings of the customer happiness centres, vehicle test centres and other RTA run services will have adjusted timings aswell. Dubai Metro’s Red Line will operate starting from 5am to 12 midnight while the green line will run from 5:30am to 12 midnight. Dubai Tram will start at 6am until 1am the next morning.
