Dubai, UAE (09 March 2023) – Celebrating International Women’s Day 2023, H.E. Sheikha Lubna Bint Khalid Al Qasimi, former Minister of State for Tolerance in the UAE, delivered an inspiring talk to Nissan employees at an exclusive event hosted by the company at its regional headquarter in Dubai. The event honoured women empowerment, cultural diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
As the first woman to assume a ministerial post in the UAE, Her Excellency shared a variety of experiences and stories from her long career and highlighted the important role that gender equality plays in organizations. During the session, Her Excellency also acknowledged Nissan’s efforts in equipping women to challenge the status quo and defy ordinary in the automotive industry.
