Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: June 9, 2024: As part of their recent participation in the Saudi Toyota Championship 2024, and with the support of Jameel Motorsport, the GR Saudi Team, have demonstrated exceptional performance, showcasing their unique skills, determination, and sportsmanship. The recent rounds held at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit Parking have been particularly noteworthy, with several team members achieving remarkable results.

In the first round of the Autocross and Time Attack competitions, Hamza Bakhashab dominated the G1+ category, claiming first place in both events. Hamza’s exceptional driving skills were evident as he navigated the challenging course with remarkable speed and accuracy. Meanwhile, Mahmoud Abed secured first place in both Autocross and Time Attack competitions (G4+ category), and Abdullah Kabbani came first in Autocross and second in Time Attack in the G2 category.

Reem Al Aboud also delivered a stellar performance, making her mark in multiple categories. She secured first place in the Autocross Ladies Cup, second place in the Autocross competition (G1+ category), third place in the Time Attack competition (G1+ category).

In the second round of the Drift competition, Yousef Bahuwirth secured an impressive second place in the Pro category, thrilling the crowd with his precision and control.

 Reem Al Aboud commented on her multiple podium finishes, saying, “It’s been an amazing journey, and standing on the podium in various categories is a proud moment for me and a testament to the dedication I’ve put into my racing career.” Abdullah Kabbani added, “Securing first place in Autocross and second place in Time Attack is a fantastic achievement for me. I am eager to continue building on this momentum in the upcoming rounds.”

Mahmoud Abed also expressed his joy, stating, “I’m thrilled to have taken first place in both Autocross and Time Attack. Each race presents a new challenge, and I am excited to take them on and see how far I can go.”

As the GR Saudi Team reflects on their recent achievements, all eyes are now set on their upcoming participation in the Saudi Toyota Championship, scheduled for June 27 and 28 in Taif. Anticipation is high as Yousef Bahuwirth gears up to tackle the challenges of the third round of the Drift competition.
