Goodyear and Audi have deepened their partnership, crafting custom original equipment (OE) tires for the Audi A5 and S5, including the innovative Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6, developed using virtual simulations.
This collaboration builds on Goodyear’s history of supplying tires for Audi’s high-performance models like the Q6 e-tron and e-tron GT.
Luca Davide Andreoni, Head of Brand Goodyear, highlighted the efficiency of virtual development, while Audi’s Dr. Peter Knauer emphasized the tailored approach—efficiency for the A5, performance for the S5.
These tires, available in sizes like 205/50R17 to 245/35R20, deliver low rolling resistance, precise handling, and enhanced winter performance, ensuring drivers get both comfort and thrill.

Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6
Using Goodyear’s cutting-edge Simulation Center in Luxembourg, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 was designed virtually, reducing development time and resources. The process took just ten months, achieving Audi’s approval with only one physical tire iteration, saving thousands of tires and test kilometers.
