Many of us are left scratching our heads when it comes to paying for Dubai RTA mParking for Abu Dhabi plate cars. While we admit that it might look a bit confusing, it is actually simple if you follow the below guide.
For the purpose of this guide, we’ll be using an Abu Dhabi vehicle number plate.
Firstly, you need to fill out the text address. This always remains the same in Dubai.
You should text 7275 (PARK).
For the Abu Dhabi plate vehicle, you need to enter an area code first. For our Abu Dhabi plate that’s AUH6. So, to park for one hour, in space 335 in zone A, your text would look like this –
AUH6 33769 335A 1
Or
<Area Code> <Plate No.> <Zone No.> <Duration>
For different time durations you can use .5, 0.5, 30, 30 min, 30 mins, 30 minutes, 1, 2, 1 hour, 2 hours.
For parking time allowances and charges, again you can check on our RTA parking guide. The text will also incur a AED0.30 charge on top of the parking fee.
