Aston Martin is the first automaker to implement the Apple CarPlay Ultra. It is an advanced version of Apple’s CarPlay infotainment system. Unlike the standard CarPlay, which is limited to the central infotainment screen, CarPlay Ultra extends to the driver’s instrument cluster, providing a seamless, customizable interface across both displays.

It integrates deeply with the vehicle’s systems, allowing control of functions like climate settings, audio, 3D camera views, parking systems, and dynamic vehicle configurations via touchscreen, physical buttons, or Siri voice commands. Key features include:

Display Integration: Shows real-time vehicle data (speed, RPM, fuel level, etc.) alongside Apple apps like Maps and Music on both the central screen and instrument cluster.

Customization: Offers curated themes, such as Aston Martin’s bespoke designs or Apple-inspired graphics, with options to personalize colors and wallpapers.

Widgets: Displays real-time info like trip duration, fuel economy, weather, or calendar events, tailorable to user preferences.

Apple Intelligence: Enhances Siri for voice control of navigation, climate, and third-party apps like parking or food ordering.

Compatibility: Requires an iPhone 12 or newer running iOS 18.5 or later. It activates automatically after a one-time setup.

Available on new 2025 Aston Martin models (DBX, DB12, Vantage, Vanquish) in the U.S. and Canada, with software updates for existing models with Aston’s latest infotainment system (introduced with the 2024 DB12)
