Deepal, the electric-vehicle arm of Chinese automaker Changan Automobile, launched its G318 hybrid SUV in the United Arab Emirates on Nov. 18, marking the brand’s third model introduction in the market in less than a year.
Features include adaptive air suspension, an intelligent all-terrain system and advanced driver aids such as integrated adaptive cruise control and 540-degree panoramic imaging.
The G318 follows the earlier arrivals of Deepal’s S05 and S07 models in the region, where demand for electrified vehicles has grown rapidly. The brand targets buyers seeking off-road capability without sacrificing efficiency or technology.
“The launch of Deepal‘s third model within just 10 months represents our strong commitment to bringing innovative and sustainable mobility solutions to the UAE,” said Ashok Khanna, chief executive of Al Tayer Motors. Xiao Feng, general manager of Changan’s Middle East and Africa division, called the vehicle a reflection of the company’s focus on convenience, sustainability and safety.
