Abu Dhabi, UAE, October 7, 2022 Al Ghandi Auto, Cadillac’s exclusive dealer partner in the UAE, has announced its participation in one of the region’s most distinguished industry exhibitions – the Auto Moto Show – promising to showcase a new era of automotive innovation. As part of its participation Al Ghandi Auto will reveal, for the first time in the region, the Escalade-V alongside the  CT5-V Blackwing, exemplifying the pinnacle of luxury performance vehicles from Cadillac.  What’s more, the all-electric Cadillac LYRIQ will also be on display at the event, giving audiences a taste of the future of luxury EVs with new standards of design, innovation, and sophistication.

The Escalade has been an icon in the world of luxury SUVs for more than two decades, setting new industry benchmarks with its quintessential style and omnipresence in pop culture. The 2023 Escalade-V elevates the model’s design, performance and technology hallmarks to create the industry’s most powerful full-size SUV, symbolized by its unmistakable sound and head-turning street presence. Proudly bearing the V-series badge of power, the Escalade-V features a 6.2-liter V-8 engine generating 682 horsepower and 885 NM of torque, as well as an automatic transmission calibrated for one speed. It will form part of the entire Cadillac’s V-Series line-up including the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing, showcasing the uppermost echelon of performance and craftsmanship.

As the industry moves into the future of mobility, Cadillac is set to redefine luxury transportation with innovative new electric vehicles, starting with its first-ever EV, the Cadillac LYRIQ.  Cadillac LYRIQ will be available with premier technologies and stirring performance capabilities enabled by the vehicle’s dedicated electric architecture. A 12-module, 102 kilowatt-hour battery pack and an all-wheel-drive Ultium Platform deliver a Cadillac estimated 500 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque — and a range of up to 500 km with a full charge¹. LYRIQ also offers high-speed DC fast charging enabling customers to add an estimated 125 km of range in about 10 minutes².

Mark Jenkins, CEO, Al Ghandi Auto, said: “We’ve represented GM for over three decades and we  continue to be amazed with every new nameplate that is released. The Escalade V is no exception, offering performance lovers a best-in-class SUV that perfectly combines power and style – we are honored to be dropping the curtains on it at the Auto Moto Show. We know how loved the iconic Escalade is and we’ve seen the impeccable welcome the Blackwings received, so we can confidently say our customers will not be disappointed with the Escalade-V. They are also about to be mesmerized by the electrifying LYRIQ EV, showing that performance and power will not be compromised as we move into the future of mobility. It stands out in every possible way!”

Kristian Aquilina, Managing Director, Cadillac International Operation and Cadillac Middle East said: “Innovation is deeply rooted in Cadillac’s DNA. We regularly work hand in hand with our dealer partners to bring the latest technologies to our valued communities. This year, our respected partner Al Ghandi Auto will take the lead in introducing the much anticipated, ground-breaking Escalade-V to the UAE community, and we can’t wait to hear our customers’ feedback. We’re also very excited to showcase Cadillac’s all-electric future, spearheaded by the LYRIQ, as we all eagerly look forward to its arrival next year.”

Slated to take place from 7-9th of October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center and open to car enthusiasts, leading automotive and technological companies, the Auto Moto Show Middle East will display modified cars and bicycles along with hosting some of the world’s leading manufacturing companies for auto parts and accessories.
