I just returned from an unforgettable four days at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2025, where Maserati’s Trident stole the spotlight with pure Italian flair. The energy was electric as the brand showcased its legacy of luxury and performance, blending heart-pounding track runs, world premieres, and a paddock brimming with automotive masterpieces.
On the iconic Hillclimb, the Maserati GT2 Stradale was the star, its new titanium racing exhaust, crafted with TubiStyle, unleashing a spine-chilling roar that had the crowd buzzing.
Born from Maserati’s racing DNA, this road-legal GT2 race car was pure adrenaline. Meanwhile, the GranCabrio, in stunning Verde Giada, tore up the track with its 490 hp V6, hitting 300 km/h with effortless elegance.
The exclusive MCXtrema, limited to 62 track-only units, turned heads in its Blue Xtrema livery, delivering 740 hp of raw power.
As Goodwood wrapped up, Maserati’s celebration of its 100-year-old Trident logo felt like a fitting tribute to a century of excellence, from Alfieri Maserati’s 1926 Targa Florio win to today’s cutting-edge marvels. I left inspired, with the roar of the Trident still echoing in my ears.
MCPURA Super Sports Car
The highlight for me was Thursday’s unveiling of the MCPURA Super Sports Car, in both coupé and convertible (MCPURA Cielo) forms. This beast, built on a carbon fiber monocoque with the roaring Nettuno V6 engine, butterfly doors, and a retractable electrochromic glass roof, is Maserati’s performance philosophy in its purest form.
