With so much contamination in the world today, AutoDrift.ae brings you a quick and easy step by step guide to clean and disinfect your car, making it a safe space for you and your family.
Remove the trash
Before you start with the vacuum cleaner, put on your gloves and start taking out any items that do not belong in the car. Most common items found are parking receipts, empty water bottles, baby toys and wrappers.Take out the Floor mats
Pull out the floor mats, beat them with a broom stick and dust them as much as possible before scrubbing them with soap and hot water. Let them get throughly dry before putting them back inside the car towards the end of the cleaning session.Use the Vacuum
Be prepared to move the seats to the front and back. Look for dirt stuck between the seat cushions and thoroughly vacuum the entire floor (specially under the brake and gas pedals). You must not forget the cargo space or the door panels.Cleaning Wipes
You can use a clean old rag or better use cleaning wipes dipped in hot water and soap. Pay special attention to the steering wheel, door handles, AC vents, the infotainment controls, seat belt metals and the gear knob. Scrub them clean and you’ll notice soil and dirt coming off your car. Please note: Do not use any sanitizer gels or bleach anywhere on the leather, dashboard area or the infotainment system of the car.Cup Holders
Cup Holders can get tricky to clean but now you can easily get cleaning putty or slime to get rid of any loose particles that get stuck inside. Then use the cleaning wipes dipped in mild soap to scrub the entire hold.Windows
Insides of the windows get messy and blurry. You can use window cleaner sprays or make your own at home mixing one cup water, half cup white vinegar and half cup of rubbing alcohol. Use paper towers to scrub your windows clean.Other items to always keep inside the car
