Nissan is marking 75 years of the Patrol with a special edition created specifically for the Gulf Cooperation Council market. The Nissan Patrol 75th Anniversary Edition is a limited-run model based exclusively on the flagship Platinum V6TT grade, combining the latest Patrol’s technology and performance with a design inspired by the vehicle’s long association with the Middle East.

Nissan initially plans to produce 1,951 units, a reference to 1951, the year the Patrol nameplate was introduced. The special edition will be available for a limited time through Nissan’s authorised partner network across the GCC.

A Patrol Designed for the Gulf

The Anniversary Edition gets a bespoke exterior treatment built around a new Copper Gold finish. Nissan says the colour was inspired by the desert landscapes and warm light of the region, while also reflecting the premium positioning of the flagship Patrol.

The Copper Gold detailing appears across the fog lamp surrounds, dual grille bars, fender vents, shoulder line and exterior emblems. The treatment is combined with Dark Chrome elements and black-finished alloy wheels, giving the Patrol a more distinctive appearance without changing its underlying design.

Customers can choose from five exterior colours, with the Copper Gold detailing providing the common visual theme across the range. Dedicated 75th Anniversary graphics appear on the shoulder line and front grille, while a unique rear badge identifies the limited edition.

There is also a more theatrical welcome when the driver approaches the vehicle. An illuminated carpet light projects a “Patrol Since 1951” graphic and desert dune motif onto the ground.

Bordeaux Interior Adds a More Exclusive Feel

The bespoke treatment continues inside with a rich Bordeaux interior. Copper Gold detailing on the steering wheel links the cabin with the exterior, while Dark Chrome trim adds to the premium finish.

The passenger-side dashboard and headrests carry 75th Anniversary embossing, while illuminated kick plates and dedicated floor and luggage mats receive the same treatment. Copper Gold ambient lighting is fitted as standard, and even the leather key fob case is finished to match the Bordeaux cabin.

Underneath the anniversary-specific design, however, this remains the flagship Patrol Platinum V6TT. That means buyers get the full specification of Nissan’s top Patrol grade rather than simply a cosmetic special edition.

425 hp from a Twin-Turbo V6

Power comes from Nissan’s 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6, producing 425 hp and 700 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and supported by Adaptive Air Suspension with Intelligent Dynamic Damping, or e-Damper technology.

The combination is intended to give the Patrol the refinement required for long-distance GCC driving while retaining the capability expected from Nissan’s flagship SUV. The Anniversary Edition therefore retains the same mechanical credentials as the Platinum V6TT rather than introducing a separate performance specification.

Technology Remains Central to the Patrol

The cabin continues to be one of the Patrol’s major talking points, with premium NASA-inspired quilted leather seats offering heating, ventilation and massage functions.

A 28.6-inch Monolith display dominates the dashboard, supported by a Klipsch Premium Audio System. Other technology includes Biometric Cooling, ProPILOT driver assistance and advanced visibility systems.

For customers in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, the Anniversary Edition also comes with NissanConnect 2.0 powered by Google built-in, bringing integrated navigation, voice assistance and connected vehicle services into the Patrol’s infotainment system.

A Special Edition for a Longstanding GCC Favourite

The Patrol has become closely associated with the Middle Eastern market over decades, particularly in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, where large SUVs continue to play an important role in both urban and long-distance driving.

The 75th Anniversary Edition builds on that history by combining the current Patrol’s flagship specification with details specifically developed for GCC customers. It sits alongside the regular Middle East Patrol line-up, which includes the Patrol Platinum, Patrol PRO-4X and Patrol NISMO.

With production limited to 1,951 units, the Anniversary Edition is positioned as a collector-oriented version of the current Patrol rather than a new variant in the conventional range. Its significance ultimately comes from what the Patrol nameplate represents in the region, while its specification ensures it remains a fully equipped modern flagship SUV.
