McLaren Automotive has introduced the McLaren Artura 1000GP by MSO. The limited edition model marks McLaren Racing’s milestone of its 1,000th Formula 1 Grand Prix start at the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix.
The result is a road car that echoes the racing team’s achievement while highlighting the shared engineering philosophy between McLaren’s track and street programs.
A custom 1000GP graphic extends across the Artura’s bonnet, lower body sides and wing mirror casings. Expert craftspeople at MSO applied the livery with precision. A subtle pinstripe detail on the front splitter and rear diffuser draws from McLaren’s heritage color schemes to complete the look.
Inside the cabin, a dedication plaque finished in a bespoke metallic papaya color commemorates the racing team’s accomplishment.
“It reflects the environment Bruce created, an environment built on collective ambition, engineering excellence and a unified approach to progress. Through this shared purpose, our teams continue to craft vehicles that carry his spirit forward. The McLaren Artura 1000GP by MSO is a testament to that legacy and offers our clients a meaningful connection to the MCL40 in a milestone moment.”
McLaren Racing will become only the second team in Formula 1 history to reach 1,000 Grand Prix starts. The squad has earned 10 Constructors’ World Championship titles and more than 200 race victories along the way. The Artura 1000GP serves as a tribute to that record and the collective effort required to sustain it.
This special edition provides McLaren customers with a direct link to the brand’s racing heritage at a significant point in its timeline.
