The 2026 Toyota GR Corolla has arrived in the Middle East, bringing high-performance driving to roads in the region, including Dubai.
Developed by the Toyota GAZOO Racing team, the GR Corolla follows the philosophy of creating better cars through motorsport. It draws on rally and circuit experience to offer strong power, precise control, and an engaging drive.
In our conversation with Akio Toyoda, Toyota Chairman and Master Driver, he noted that every GR model, including the Corolla, reflects a focus on track-bred performance for a responsive and enjoyable experience.
Power goes to all four wheels through the GR-FOUR all-wheel drive system, which adjusts torque distribution for better traction and handling. Drivers can select a six-speed manual transmission for direct involvement or an eight-speed automatic tuned for performance.
The chassis includes MacPherson strut front suspension and double wishbone rear suspension for balanced handling.
Motorsport influences show in the exterior, with enhanced cooling and aerodynamics. Features like a larger grille, functional ducts, and a sub-radiator help manage heat and improve stability, which is useful in the region’s warm climate and varied roads.
The GR Corolla is available in four exterior colors: Precious Metal, Platinum White Pearl Mica, Emotional Red, and Precious Black. Interior options are Black or Black & Red.
Safety includes Toyota Safety Sense with systems like Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Blind Spot Monitor. Additional features support parking and visibility.
This arrival adds to Toyota’s GR lineup and suits drivers seeking a capable, fun car for city streets, winding roads, or occasional track use in the Middle East.
