I spent a full week behind the wheel of the 2025 Toyota Camry GLE Hybrid in Dubai, and let me tell you, it’s a comfy, premium sedan with a lot to like. The vehicle I am driving is in Precious Bronze color.

2025 Toyota Camry GLE Hybrid

The 2025 Toyota Camry GLE is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a (lithium ion battery) hybrid electric boost, it pumps out 227 horsepower and 221 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission.

The instant torque from the hybrid makes acceleration snappy, though as a front-wheel drive, cornering’s decent but not thrilling.

Fuel Economy

Fuel economy’s solid. It was advertised at 27.1 kilometers per liter, I managed 14.5 in real-world driving, with a 50-liter tank giving good range. I did the school run in slow moving traffic (the car was pretty much on the EV mode) and the mid-night long drive outside of Dubai for some star-gazing near Bab al Shams.

I think Toyota has got it right with the Camry. A fuel efficient engine with an EV component that delivers power and range both. Range anxiety is real and I think that is what will drive people towards hybrid electric vehicles.

Cabin Styling and Features

The cabin screams premium with leather seats, power adjustments for both front seats, and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen.

The 2025 Toyota Camry GLE has got Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, navigation, and a six-speaker audio system that’s good, if not mind-blowing.

The ride is enjoyable, there is no engine or road noise but the wind noise creeps in, hinting at so-so cabin insulation. A slight adjustment is much needed. It also has a panoramic sunroof. Which is a nice touch, but maybe an overkill in Dubai’s sun.

Safety’s on point with adaptive cruise control, brake hold, ABS, a rearview camera, and blind spot monitoring.

2025 Toyota Camry GLE Hybrid pricing

The 2025 Toyota Camry GLE Hybrid is one of the top trims and is priced at 139,900 dirhams, it’s solid value for a Japanese sedan that will easily last you 7+ years without trouble.

I’m digging the Camry GLE’s smooth ride and tech. If you are looking for a reliable sedan with all the modern features, this is it.
