The 2025 Audi SQ6 e-tron is a high-performance electric SUV from Audi, part of the German automaker’s growing e-tron lineup of fully electric vehicles. It represents a sportier, more powerful variant of the Audi Q6 e-tron, which is expected to be one of the brand’s key electric offerings.

Audi SQ6 e-tron:

1. Platform and Architecture

The Audi SQ6 e-tron is built on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) architecture, which is co-developed by Audi and Porsche. This platform is designed specifically for high-performance electric vehicles and will also underpin other upcoming models from Audi and Porsche, including the Porsche Macan EV and the Audi Q6 e-tron.

2. Powertrain

The SQ6 e-tron features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, providing significantly more power than the base Q6 e-tron. The SQ6 e-tron produces around 400 horsepower. The dual-motor setup enables fast acceleration and a strong, sporty driving experience, with a 0-100 kmph time to be around 4 seconds if done using launch control.

3. Battery and Range

The SQ6 e-tron features a large battery pack and the advertised range is over 620 kilometers on a single charge. We drove the car around Dubai for a few days and found the range to be close to 500 km but a lot depends on your driving style and traffic conditions.

Audi claims the PPE platform is designed to offer fast charging and long-range capabilities, so the SUV will support fast charging, likely enabling around 250 kW DC fast charging, which means it can charge from 10% to 80% in as little as 20-25 minutes.

4. Performance and Driving Dynamics

The SQ6 e-tron has a focus on performance, as signaled by its “S” badge. Expect a sporty suspension with adaptive damping, all-wheel drive for excellent traction, and a performance-oriented steering setup. Audi has a strong history of delivering refined driving dynamics in its higher-performance models, and the SQ6 e-tron is no different, offering a blend of comfort, stability, and agility.

5. Interior and Technology

As with other high-end Audi models, the SQ6 e-tron features luxurious materials and cutting-edge technology inside. Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster and the MMI (Multimedia Interface) infotainment system will be standard, with large touchscreen displays, advanced connectivity, and possibly even augmented reality (AR) features for navigation.

The cabin is very spacious, offering a premium experience with top-tier materials such as leather, Alcantara, and real wood accents.

6. Design

The SQ6 e-tron has more aggressive design compared to the standard Q6 e-tron, featuring a sportier front bumper, wider wheel arches, and unique performance-inspired styling elements like larger wheels and possibly sportier lighting elements. The vehicle’s design is visioned to carry Audi’s modern aesthetic, with clean lines and aerodynamic efficiency.

Audi SQ6 e-tron price in Dubai

While the vehicle is on pre-booking right now, the top specs variant is expected to be priced around AED 340,000 with the base models being the Q6 e-tron starting at around AED 280,000.

The vehicle comes with a 3 years unlimited mileage, 8 years or 160K km battery and a service package for 5 yrs/75K km
