2021 Hyundai Azera: Review, Specs and Price in UAE

26.8KViews
2021 Hyundai Azera is an extra ordinary sedan with radical modern exterior styling and beautiful looks that are not just skin deep. With a fresh and unmistakable exterior design, an interior that is loaded with premium materials and a top quality infotainment system, the Azera is undoubtedly Hyundai’s best work and it clearly shows. We reviewed the top trim of the 2021 Hyundai Azera and the amount of attention we got on the road was noteworthy. Most people were left in awe at the exterior style. Many asked us if it was a Genesis or really a Hyundai. It is that good! As a family / executive sedan that comfortably seats five people, the Azera offers a premium traveling experience. The acceleration response is very good. It takes only 7.5 seconds to reach from 0 – 100 km per hour and is a good couple of seconds faster than its closest competitor, the Honda Accord. Azera’s futuristic LED headlamps automatically light up to signal the car is ready to roll, the moment you approach it. Being a front wheel drive, don’t expect a race car handling from it. We certainly won’t recommend taking sharp turns at high speeds. The suspension is a bit stiff for a family sedan but the passenger ride quality is high. The cabin has top quality insulation and there is hardly any engine, wind or road noise. Hyundai Azera is loaded with safety and driver assist features. The 360 camera has HD quality, there is automatic emergency braking, rear cross path detection, adaptive cruise control and air bags all around the cabin. The feature we loved the most is the alarm function, intimating the driver that the car ahead of you has started to move forward and you are still stationary at the traffic light. We noted an overall fuel economy of 11 liters per 100 kilometers. In comparison to other cars in its class, these numbers are on the lower side though.

Hyundai Azera Specs:

Engine: 3.5 Liter – 6 Cylinders Horsepower: 286 Bhp Torque: 388 Nm Drive System: Front Wheel Drive Transmission: 8 Speed Automatic

Exterior:

You cant take your eyes off the Azera’s integrated parametric jeweled grille. It is studded with LED headlamps and spectacularly designed daytime running lights. The front bumper, grille and crisp lines on the hood give the Azera a very modern, yet sophisticated and classy look. There are subtle chrome accents all around the exterior of this executive sedan. The rear lighting has also been upgraded to make it more horizontal with small arches. The top trim we reviewed has 19 inch aluminum alloy wheels. Hyundai Azera Wheels

Interior:

There is abundance of space inside the new Azera. The color combination, suede leather headliners and plenty of premium materials add to the cabin luxury. Steering Wheel The driver display is a 12.1 inch LCD screen that completely changes its visuals and style depending on the drive mode. You are set to receive an unforgettable experience with it’s class leading infotainment system. A 10 speaker infinity audio system is paired with an advanced LCD touch screen that operates with swiping movements. The Azera offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as wireless charging and standard USB functionality. The front seats are bit sporty in design but very comfortable. The entire center console is neatly designed and the absence of the gear shaft allows for more cubby space and gives a much more spacious feel. There is a crisp head up display that updates the speed limits, warns of approaching or departing vehicles and helps in lane keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. Once night falls, you can adjust the 64-color ambient lighting to best suit your mood. We chose purple and my word, does it look classy! There is ample head and leg room for rear passengers. Three people can easily fit in and even longer drives won’t be a worry. The automatic panoramic sunroof, just like the headliners is covered in suede cloth. It feels plush and soft upon touch and is easily operated using a convenient switch. There is decent luggage space in the Hyundai Azera and you can easily fit in two large suitcases and other small cargo. Its not the best in its class but not inadequate from any standard.
