We are all aware of the booming crossover market. They are a perfect blend between the SUV and sedan vehicles. Because of adaptability and performance, their popularity is at an all time high in 2020.
Nissan has expanded its flagship X-Trail crossover range in the Middle East with the introduction of the new X-Tremer special edition. The AWD X-Tremer is mechanically identical to the X-Trail and features a new trim for the exterior to help it differentiate from the latter.
This trim reviewed is an exclusive 2020 Nissan X-Tremer a seven-seater SUV off-road package, which brings a more aggressive look to the humble crossover, Nissan X-trail.
It features an all-wheel-drive system that has an intelligent safety tech; meaning it sends adaptive power to wheels acknowledging the terrain. Whether its rain or the roads covered with loose gravels, the intelligent 4×4 is so responsive that it can adapt to changing conditions 30 times faster than the blink of an eye.
The Nissan X-Tremer is a perfect family car. The suspension set up is soft, making this car very comfortable to drive within the city’s and even on beaten-up road surfaces.
On the road, most people won’t need 4WD, so best keep at Auto. Even if you genuinely go off-road with a slight throttle, the tires do a fantastic job getting out of tricky situations. Taking this car out on the rugged terrain is fun and adventurous. The Nissan X-Tremer is a four-cylinder 2.5-liter engine with 169 horsepower and 233 Nm of torque.

The difference between the standard X-Trail and X-Tremer can be seen immediately. Nissan has ditched most of the chrome by replacing the grille, bumper, roof rails, and various trim pieces with more bolder looking gloss black panels.
The fog lights are redesigned to give the vehicle a muscular look by having additional LED’s which are day time running. You also have the option to switch the LED Headlamps to the “Follow me home” function, which keeps the path light till you walk indoors.
Similar to the front end, there is a faux skid plate at the rear complimenting the well-garnished bumper protection. The bumper does not only have an appealing look but does a great job of protecting the vehicle from any damages.
The Nissan X-Tremer comes with an 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels that are designed exclusively for this package. The trims are purely aesthetic upgrades as the ride height is the same as compared to the standard X trail option. Nissan took every effort in giving the X-Trail an X-factor for the X- Tremer 2020.
Glancing within the interiors of the Nissan X-Tremer, it has a soothing, refreshing, relaxed, and refined finish. The infotainment system is simple and very classy with shades of black.
The console not only spoils the driver but the passenger as well with the Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control (ATC). Forget Google Maps, Nissan X-Tremer Advanced Drive-Assist Display gives to turn-by-turn directions information right in front of you without you taking your eyes off the road.
The steering is D shaped, filled with several navigational buttons making look sporty and easy to navigate settings while cruising.
The Nissan X-Tremer has an abundance of headroom and comfortable seats that can be adjusted with an automatic setting. There is sufficient legroom for all the passengers, even if the driver has extended his seat all the way back.
The front seats can easily fold and slide according to your needs. The second-row seats are very accommodating and can recline at your convenience, although third-row seats can be a little uncomfortable on long rides. A tan leather seat option is also available on higher trims.
The cargo is spacious and specially designed to accommodate as much equipment on the floor panel. With the seven-seater, the seats can fold flat to the floor, giving you that extra room and added height to fit tall objects.
